Joseph Buchheit is an amateur composer with roots in the Mid-west. He studied composition at Northwestern University, ACM in Chicago and through the web. His music is a personal journal, reflecting his current emotional state, mindset or place in the world. Joseph does not consider his music to be of one genre, but uses any technique or sound necessary to convey his message.
 
He has had performances at the Sound of Silent Film festival in Chicago in 2015 and Nathaniel Hawthorne Festival in 2015.
